A technique book for the transverse flute, translated into Japanese by Miho Shirai. Almost all exercises are based on historical sources and cover all important areas of practice: articulation, finger technique, intonation and tone design. The book enables basic tone and technique exercises to be practiced in a historically informed manner. Prof. Michael Schneider (“... belongs on the music stand of every transverse flute player...”) recommends the edition, as does Prof. Karl Kaiser (“... convincing system. These daily exercises based on sources should be of great use to everyone.”).
