The theme used is the very popular Austrian Christmas carol "Es wird scho glei dumpa", whose meldoie dates back to the 18th century. It can be performed either with or without an introduction, the finale or a few variations, which means that the duration and the degree of difficulty are variable and thus can also be performed by music students.
