for flauto traverso and basso, WKO 227, A6:1, edited as first edition by Leonore von Zadow with an detailed introduction by Michael O’Loghlin and a continuo realisation by Dankwart von Zadow. This flute sonata is based on a hitherto almost unnoticed manuscript in the collection of the Danish composer Giedde (1756–1816), which is today preserved in the Royal Library in Copenhagen. The Sonata belongs to the period of the “Empfindsamkeit” and has expressive melodies and pleasant harmonic surprises. Edition Güntersberg
