Presumably composed in 1717 for the court of Neuburg on the Danube, this Italian cantata contains a virtuoso recorder part. Greber, who studied in Italy, was active after 1703 as an opera composer in London, and, following his return to the continent, in Innsbruck, Neuburg, and Heidelberg. Green Man Press
