Vandini indeed collaborated closely with Tartini, but he also inspired Vivaldi to write demanding cello concertos. A very spirited and expressive concerto that has been recorded on CD by Jan Vogler („Concerti di Venezia“ Sony, No. 5534439), as well as by Elinor Frey: Passacaille, 1079 (distribution note 1).
