Edition Walhall was founded in Magdeburg in 1993 by Franz Biersack and is based at Richard-Wagner-Straße 3 (near Universitätsplatz, theatre).

In the meantime, in addition to church music, the edition specialises in vocals and baroque music (especially sheet music for viola da gamba, violin and trumpet). New editions and facsimiles are on sale. But the music school series ‘Learning with Fun’ and the music posters from Editions Fuzeau are also gaining more and more friends.

The Walhall team and its music shop Noten-Biersack provide expert advice on baroque music, vocals and orchestral materials for choirs and orchestras. Price comparisons and recommendations are a matter of course for us, even if you are a musician travelling through Magdeburg or attending a concert. (Telephone: 0391.85 78 20)

Edition Walhall supplies the German viola da gamba and consort music publisher Edition Güntersberg and the English publisher rg-editions of the baroque violinist Richard Gwilt (London Baroque) worldwide. We are happy to assist music dealers with good delivery conditions and recommendations.
